If you have any cuts, bruises, burns, peeling or fresh tans your tattoo appointment may be postponed. The main reason is that your tattoo will have a difficult time healing due to your body already going through, or healing from trauma to the skin.
-
We undertstand emergencies come up and that is completely fine. However, when you cancel at the last minute on your artist that entire time slot is gone for them and time is valuable. Of course, things happen, but please let your artist know as soon as possible regarding any changes in estimated arrival.

A tattoo is more than just a piece of art and a way to personalize your canvas. It’s a medical procedure too, because the artist uses a needle to insert the ink underneath your skin.
Please do NOT :
-scratch or pick at the tattoo
-go swimming
-cover your tattoo with sunblock until its fully healed
Please DO :
-carefully remove bandage
-keep clean, wash with unscented, antibacterial soap
-apply aquaphor, A&D, or vaseline to your tattoo after washing.
-reach out to your artist with ANY questions or concerns about your new tattoo
Any time you open the skin, you leave yourself vulnerable to scarring and infections.
Caring for your tattoo can prevent those complications and ensure that the tattoo heals properly. Both you and your tattoo artist play equal roles in this process. Along with going to a licensed and reputable tattoo artist, you need to take care of your new tattoo at home.
